It is the buyers responsibility to be fully aware of this policy and all of its terms when taking part in a sale.
!!!!! PLEASE READ BEFORE INQUIRING ABOUT A RABBIT !!!!!
This Policy is based on our own thoughts, judgement, and experiences; therefore, a rabbit is judged and priced as seen fit by the original breeder.

CONTACTING US
- We will respond to messages including sale inquiries through Facebook, Instagram or Email.
Our sales are currently organized by first inquiry on our waiting list. After I have finished contacting everyone on our waiting list, any rabbits that are still for sale will be posted on our social media accounts and/or website on a first come, first serve basis.
BEFORE INQUIRING
Before you decide that a rabbit is a good pet or addition for you or your family. Stop and think. Do your research. Know what you are getting into.
Rabbits can be a lot of work. Weekly or Daily cage cleanings, nail trimming and grooming, making a safe environment, or even just paying attention to your rabbit so it bonds with you. It is impossible to buy a rabbit and expect it to be cuddly and give kisses from day one. Rabbits are not as social as cats or dogs etc. but still need attention from their owner like any other animal.
We cannot guarantee a rabbit's personality and how it will settle into its new home. We can only describe a rabbit from our own personal opinion and how we can compare it to the rest of our rabbits.
When taking a rabbit home for the first time, you must give it a quiet space and plenty of time to settle into its new home. Your bunny must be fed a proper diet of unlimited hay, water, and about 1/2 cup a day of healthy pellets. When buying a rabbit from us you will receive a small bag of transitional alfalfa rabbit pellets (16-17% protein).
Veggies are NOT a main part of a rabbits diet and should be fed in moderation.
Fruit is high in sugar and should only be given as a treat. NEVER feed your rabbit dairy as they cannot digest it.
Our rabbits are raised in solid wood floor hutches in a temperature regulated room with indoor/outdoor exercise pens. Our cages are cleaned regularly. Our rabbits have the option to use a litter box, but are not purposely litter trained. Rabbits can be litter trained, but it is pretty rare for them to be perfect even as fixed indoor pets.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you have before you decide on a rabbit or check out our "Tips and Facts" story on Instagram for more info.
SALES POLICY
Our sales are currently organized by first inquiry on our waiting list. (This may change at some point in the future.) After I have finished contacting everyone on our waiting list, any rabbits that are still for sale will be posted on social media or our website on a first come, first serve basis.
(My Instagram account is always up to date so probably best to follow me on Instagram for the most recent posts.)
If you are interested in a rabbit or an upcoming litter please inquire to be added to Holland Days waiting list via email, or contact us on Facebook or Instagram.
I just require a full name and valid source of contact such as email or cell phone number to add you to our list.
RESERVING A RABBIT
When a litter becomes available to reserve at 6-8 weeks, everyone on our waiting list will be contacted from first to last.
a photo with a price and gender will be provided for each rabbit that is available to reserve.
You will have 24 hours to respond before I move on to the next in line on the list.
I will require a 50% non refundable deposit by e-transfer in order to reserve a rabbit. This deposit will hold your rabbit for 10 days after it is available for pick up at 8 weeks old, or if the rabbit is already at a mature age the deposit will hold your rabbit for 10 days immediately. After this, additional fees will be applied at $2/day. This is to pay for feed and boarding costs.
Once you have reserved a rabbit/s and you would like to stay on our waiting list for future litters, you will be moved to the last in line at that time in order to give others a chance to reserve a rabbit.
-Holland Days Rabbitry reserves the right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time for our own reasons. Any refusal of sale will receive a full refund.
We do NOT accept PayPal or cheque.
PRICING
The price of a rabbit can vary based on their overall type and potential in breeding programs, colour, personality, and age. These judgements are based on our own thoughts and opinions.
A 4 generation pedigree is now included in the price of any Brood or breeding quality rabbits meaning, in my opinion they have the potential to produce good offspring. This quality of rabbit will range anywhere from $75-$200.
Or if you are just buying the rabbit as a pet and do not want the pedigree I will also offer a "Pet Price" which is a little bit cheaper.
Rabbits sold as Pet quality means that they will NOT come with a pedigree as they would not seem fit for a breeding program. Pets range from $50-$150
Pets are offered an Adoption certificate for an additional $5.
PICK UP
When the rabbit has reached 8 weeks of age, it will be ready for pick up and a pick up date will be arranged with the buyer.
I am able to meet at an agreeable location in Saskatoon or Warman free of charge. I can also occasionally meet in Prince Albert or Nipawin on a day and time specific to when I am passing through for a delivery fee of $15.
If a reserved rabbit is held longer than 10 days after it is ready for pick up and no communication has been made by the buyer, the deposit will be forfeited and the rabbit will be re listed for sale.
If a reserved rabbit is held longer than 10 days and an extended pick up has been discussed with the buyer, they will be made known of a small boarding fee of $2/day in order to pay for the extra time, care, and feed costs of the rabbit.
The full payment must be made before the rabbit leaves our care, unwilling to do so will result in your 50% deposit being forfeited and the rabbit being re listed for sale.
If you do not show up on the arranged pick up day and no communication was made prior to me arriving at the location, the deposit will also be forfeited and the rabbit will be re listed for sale. Unless the issue has been discussed and a re- schedule date has been properly arranged.
We will not put up with rude or disrespectful behavior.
It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the animal at pick up.
Anything noticed by the buyer after the fact is no longer our responsibility.
I personally examine each rabbit by checking the eyes, ears, teeth, nose, and hind quarters and notify the buyer of any potential problems that I can see. (Note that I am not a vet and cannot thoroughly examine all parts of the rabbit properly such as the ears and back molars.)
We are not responsible for the health of any rabbit after it leaves our care.
Holland Days Rabbitry does not knowingly sell a rabbit with any health problems or defects unless it has been appropriately stated and the buyer is made known of the rabbit's situation. We will not refund a rabbit if something should happen to it after it leaves out care. If anything happens to a rabbit within two weeks of being adopted, please contact us and the issue will be discussed. rabbits are very fragile animals and need care specific to their needs.
When taking your rabbit home you will receive a transitional bag of pellets, a pedigree or adoption certificate if requested, and we will trim your bunnies nails and give them a quick groom before they go to their new home!
TRANSPORT
I do NOT offer any means of transportation by via truck or plane. I will however, be willing to ship a rabbit if you provide transport and everything is paid for in full and dealt with appropriately. A fee may be applied for me to deliver the rabbit to an agreeable location to be shipped. I am not responsible If anything should happen to a rabbit during or after being transported.
I will NOT Transport a rabbit over seas
(Flights throughout Canada can be booked through West jet.)

OUR GOALS
As a rabbitry, our goal is to breed healthy, happy Holland lops to the Standard of Perfection. We strive for beautiful rabbits with a loving pet personality. We do not currently show our rabbits and therefore, I can not guarantee that my rabbits have good showing potential.
I, Gillian Buhler, reserve the right to change my policies as I see fit and will negotiate my policy with anyone who has any concerns or questions about my terms and conditions.
We have the right to refuse any sale if you are unable to comply with Holland Days Rabbitry Policies.
